Get Involved

The Guild is organized around talented people who volunteer their time to serve on the board, participate on committees, and share their knowledge of the fiber arts. Please contact a board member if you would like to get involved in any way. See who's on the board >

Library

The Guild maintains an extensive library of books, magazines, and videos for member use. See a list of books >

Scholarships

The Guild offers an Educational Scholarship Program that provides financial assistance for classes, workshops, or seminars. The purpose of a scholarship is to enhance the applicant’s personal growth and enrich creativity within the Guild community. Download a scholarship application >

Continuing Education

We continue to grow as fiber artists through workshops, and study groups. The Guild works with fiber artists, educators, and other non-profit organizations to host and facilitate workshops for our members.

Fellowship & Community

The Guild fosters a community of like-minded creatives, and provides an opportunity to kindle friendships, and expand artistic skills. We reach out of a wide variety of individuals by providing weaving, spinning, and fiber art demonstrations to local groups, and organizations, and at events.  See what we're up to this month >

Dual Memberships

Your membership in the Weavers Guild automatically entitles you to memberships in the Fiber Guild of Greater Kansas City (non-voting) and the Kansas Alliance of Weavers and Spinners (KAWS). Go to Fiber Guild Website >

Creative Hand

Our Creative Hand sales event showcases handmade items from members of both Guilds. This is the original pop-up shop, and it has been an annual event for over 30 years. Go to Creative Hand Website >
