We meet monthly on the second Thursday at 10 a.m. at Westwood City Hall, 4700 Rainbow, Westwood, KS.

If the KCMO School District is closed due to weather, the Guild will not meet that day.
2026 Monthly Program & Meeting Schedule
A different program is presented at each meeting and designed to broaden our artistic skills and enrich our creative efforts.

Samantha Herrington, owner of The Emerald Ewe yarn shop in Parkville, will be giving a presentation about nålbinding and bog fashion. Samantha got her start in "historically slow fashion" with the Society of Creative Anachronism and has expanded her fiber interests to crochet, spinning, weaving, dyeing, teaching of same and now, a yarn shop owner!

Annual swap 'n shop. Bring your fiber art supplies with name and pricing labeled and small bills for purchasing.

Justine Clark , Guild member and recent scholarship recipient will talk about the harness weaving class she attended.

Tabbetha Evans, designer with Peruvian Connections and KCAI fiber department instructor, will talk about her adventures with Peruvian Connections, travels to Peru, and designing clothes.
